Application: WALLBANGERS Racquetball VR Developer: Baglunch Games Effective: 31 August 2026 Last updated: 31 August 2026
The short version
WALLBANGERS has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking SDKs. Your settings, your display name and your win count are saved on your headset and stay there. The game only sends anything at all in two situations, both of which you choose: when you play an online match, and when you deliberately submit a bug report. We never ask for your real name, your email address or any other personal detail.
1 · What is stored on your headset
The game keeps a small amount of data locally, in the standard Unity preferences store on your device. None of it is transmitted anywhere except as described in section 2:
- The display name you type on the in-game keyboard.
- Your options — audio levels, comfort settings, racket hand, turning style, quality and render scale.
- A running win count and your tutorial-completed flag.
This data is not linked to any identity we hold, because we do not hold one. Uninstalling the app removes all of it.
2 · Online multiplayer
Online 1v1 matches are optional. If you never open the Multi menu, the game makes no network requests for gameplay at all.
When you do host, search for or join an online match, the game connects to Unity Gaming Services — Unity’s Authentication, Relay and multiplayer session services — and to Vivox for in-match voice chat. Both are operated by Unity Technologies. During an online session the following is transmitted:
- An anonymous session identifier issued by Unity. It is not tied to your Meta account, your email address, or any identity we can read. We never see it.
- The display name you chose, so your opponent can see who they are playing. Choose something you are happy for a stranger to read.
- Gameplay state for the duration of the match — racket and player positions, ball physics and the score.
- Your voice, live, while you are in a match with voice chat enabled. It is relayed to your opponent in real time. Baglunch Games does not record, store or transcribe voice chat.
None of this survives the match on our side, because there is no “our side” — Baglunch Games operates no servers and keeps no database. Unity’s handling of the traffic it relays is governed by the Unity Gaming Services privacy policy.
Voice chat can be switched off, and push-to-talk enabled, in the in-game options at any time.
3 · Bug reports
The options menu has a Report Bug button. It is entirely voluntary. If you type a report and submit it, the game sends exactly four things to a relay that forwards them to our email inbox:
- the report text you typed;
- the display name you chose;
- the app version number;
- the headset model (for example, “Quest 3”).
That is the whole payload. There is no attached log file, no screenshot, no location and no device identifier. We read these reports to fix the game and for nothing else, and we do not add you to any mailing list — we could not, as we do not receive your email address.
4 · What we do not do
- No advertising, and no advertising SDKs.
- No analytics or telemetry SDK. We do not measure your sessions, your play time or your behaviour.
- No third-party tracking, fingerprinting or cross-app profiling.
- No user accounts, logins, passwords or email addresses.
- No access to your camera feed, passthrough imagery, room scan, contacts, photos or files.
- No selling, renting or sharing of data — there is nothing to sell.
- No in-app purchases.
5 · Children
WALLBANGERS is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Because the game has no account system and collects no personal information from anyone, we have nothing to delete on request — but if you believe a child has sent us something through a bug report, email us and we will remove it.
Please note that online voice chat puts players in unmoderated live contact with strangers. Parents and guardians should use the in-game option to disable voice chat, or avoid online play, if that is a concern.
6 · The platform itself
The game is distributed through Meta’s store and runs on Meta Quest hardware. Meta’s own collection of data about your device, your account and your app usage is outside our control and is covered by Meta’s privacy policy. We do not receive that data.
7 · Your choices
- Play offline. Solo, Tournament and Practice modes work with no network connection whatsoever.
- Turn off voice chat, or switch to push-to-talk, in the options.
- Change your display name at any time from the options menu.
- Delete everything by uninstalling the app. All local data goes with it.
- Ask us anything at the address below. We will answer.
8 · Changes to this policy
If the game gains a feature that changes what it sends, we will update this page and move the “last updated” date above before that version ships. We will not quietly start collecting something new.
