Application: Atomic Smash Lab Developer: Baglunch Games Effective: 6 August 2026 Last updated: 26 August 2026
The short version
Atomic Smash Lab does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. It has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDKs, and our game code makes no network requests of any kind. Your game progress is saved on your headset and never leaves it. The only way we ever receive anything from you is if you deliberately choose to email us a bug report.
1. Information we collect
None. Atomic Smash Lab does not ask you for, collect, or transmit any personal information. Specifically, the app does not collect:
- Names, email addresses, usernames, or account details
- Meta account information, player IDs, or friend lists
- Location data of any kind
- Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or IP addresses
- Usage analytics, telemetry, session recordings, or crash reports
- Voice, microphone, photo, or video data
- Payment or financial information
There is no login, no user account, and no online functionality in Atomic Smash Lab. The Android internet permission appears in the app's manifest because it is added automatically by the Meta XR SDK, not by us — our game code makes no network requests and transmits nothing.
2. Information stored on your device
The app saves a small amount of data locally on your headset so your progress survives between sessions. This never leaves your device and is never accessible to us:
- Which atoms and molecules you have completed
- Whether you have finished or skipped the tutorial
- Your accessibility settings, such as colourblind mode and snap strength
- Any bug report text you have written, saved as a local text file
This data contains no personal information and is stored in your headset's private application storage. Uninstalling Atomic Smash Lab permanently deletes all of it. You can also erase your progress at any time from inside the app using the reset option in the Options panel.
3. Bug reports you choose to send
The app includes an optional in-headset bug reporter. It is never triggered automatically — you have to open it and type a message yourself.
When you submit a report, two things happen:
- The report text is saved to a file on your own device, so nothing is lost.
- Your headset's default email application opens with a message pre-addressed to baglunchgames@gmail.com, pre-filled with your report text and the app version number.
The app itself does not send this email. Nothing is transmitted unless you review the message and press send in your own mail application. If you do send it, we will receive the email address you sent it from and whatever text you wrote. We use this solely to investigate and fix the bug, we do not add it to any mailing list, and we do not share it with anyone. You are welcome to send bug reports from a throwaway address, and you should avoid including personal details in the message body.
4. Mixed reality, cameras, and hand tracking
Atomic Smash Lab is a mixed reality application. It uses passthrough, spatial anchors, and hand tracking so the lab can appear in your real room and respond to your hands.
These features are provided by the Meta headset operating system, not by this app. Camera imagery, room geometry, and hand pose data are processed on-device by the system runtime. The app does not request camera permission and never receives, records, stores, or transmits images or video of you or your surroundings. It receives only the abstract tracking information needed to place objects and detect gestures, and none of that information is retained after you close the app.
5. Third parties
The app contains no advertising networks, no analytics providers, no social media integrations, and no third-party data collection SDKs. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share any information, because we do not have any to share.
Atomic Smash Lab is distributed through the Meta Quest platform. Meta Platforms, Inc. independently collects information relating to your account, your purchases, and your use of their store and hardware, under their own privacy policy and outside our control or visibility. Please review Meta's Privacy Policy for details on what they collect.
6. Children's privacy
Atomic Smash Lab collects no personal information from anyone, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and the app provides no mechanism through which a child could submit personal information to us other than the optional bug reporter described above.
Meta requires its own minimum account age to use Quest hardware and its store. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through a bug report email, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your rights and choices
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on request. You retain full control of the only data that exists:
- Delete your local data: uninstall the app, or use the reset option in the Options panel.
- Delete a bug report you sent us: email us and we will delete the message and your address from our inbox.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California, or another region with data protection laws granting you rights over your personal information, those rights are respected in full. In practice they are satisfied by us not collecting anything.
8. Data security
Data stored by the app resides in your headset's private, sandboxed application storage, protected by your device's own security. Saved progress is additionally obfuscated before being written. As no data is transmitted, there is no transmission to intercept and no server holding your information that could be breached.
9. Changes to this policy
If a future update changes how the app handles data, this policy will be updated and the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change. Material changes will be noted in the app's store listing update notes. If a future version ever introduces data collection, it will ask for your consent first.
